The Unison recruitment and selection process is set out below:

  • Vacancy is advertised

  • Applications then received (accepted via any means)

  • Applicants are advised when we receive an application

  • Applications are considered by the appointing manager and those suitable for an interview are contacted and invited to attend an interview

  • Interviews are commonly undertaken by a panel of Unison staff, likely to include the appointing manager, the role team leader and a Human Resources representative

  • All potential applicants will be reference checked

  • The best applicant for the job will be selected and offered the position

  • All unsuccessful applicants will be notified

  • If you are successful and we invite you to an interview, you must complete the form below in your own handwriting and forward to the HR team prior to the interview date.
