Good Sports Competition
Recognising great team players in our community
Do you know a child who stands out as a great team player? Someone who gives it their all, supports their teammates, and brings a positive attitude to every game?
Unison, in partnership with The Breeze, is celebrating the junior players who make a real difference during the winter sports season. Each week, one deserving child will win a $50 voucher and a team shout at their next game or training. They'll also go in the draw to win a special team training session with a guest star.
You can enter a child from any Hawke’s Bay junior hockey, netball, rugby or football team. Simply tell us why they deserve to be Unison’s Good Sport.
Each weekly winner will also feature on Unison’s Facebook and Instagram pages, so their whānau and friends can share in the celebration.

Terms and Conditions
- Competition open from 20 July 2026 - 16 August 2026.
- The competition is open to junior rugby, netball, hockey and football teams in Hastings and Napier, as long as you're in our electricity network area.
- The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The team training session will be for the team players only.
- Prizes are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Unison staff and their families are ineligible to enter.
