Powerman's Player of the Week is...

WOW! With the HUGE number of entries we’ve already received for 'Powerman's Player of the Week' competition, it is fair to say there are MANY Hawke’s Bay junior rugby, netball and hockey players that deserve to be crowned Powerman’s Player of the Week!

But we can only choose one winner for the week....

This morning, Sarah & Martin from The Hits Hawke’s Bay announced Powerman’s very first 'Player of the Week' winner – ZANE TRENEMAN!
 
Zane’s mum, Jo said Zane deserved to be Powerman's Player of the Week because...
 
“Even at 27kg Zane tackles and plays hard for his team without fear and with absolute passion. He's recognisable by his trademark orange headgear and can usually be seen playing at halfback getting in to small gaps to retrieve the ball for his teammates. I'm most proud of Zane’s sportsmanship attributes and when playing against a school team last week, I noticed he helped a player he had just tackled to his feet and I thought quietly to myself your awesome my boy.”
 
Congratulations Zane! You sound like an awesome junior rugby player with an outstanding attitude both on and off the field!
