Waipahihi Stormers Win Taupo's First Halftime Heroes Award

The Waipahihi Stormers were crowned the first 2017 Taupo Halftime Heroes winners on Saturday.
Greg Watson nominated the Stormers because, "they have been together for three years and in that time they have changed from a bunch of individuals into a cohesive team that trains hard, plays fair, and are incredibly enthusiastic and encouraging of each other."
"Their coach, Mary, is patient and passionate about the team and she also does an incredible celebration dance every time they score a goal."
The Stormers were awarded a $150.00 Cobb 'n' Co voucher to enjoy as a team for their efforts. Well done, Stormers.
