Installation Details

Typical examples for Service Mains Routes:

  • Underground: Underground cable running from pillar to connection point (e.g., house or pump).
  • Overhead to Underground: Fuse at a pole and service cable running down the pole and underground to the connection point.
  • Overhead: Aerial conductor running overhead from pole to connection point.
  • Underground to Overhead: Starting point is a pillar (the fuse is located in the pillar). Cable running underground to service pole and then running aerially from the service pole to connection point.
