Hawke’s Bay Power Consumers’ Trust Announces Dividend Payment (1)
Hawke’s Bay power consumers will have extra money in their pockets, just in time for Christmas, with the Hawke’s Bay Power Consumers’ Trust announcing its annual dividend payment is to be paid in late November.
The Trust today announced a $170 tax-paid dividend to power consumers, as their share of profits returned by electricity distributor, Unison Networks Limited.
Trust Chairman, John Newland, said the dividend amount reflected the continued solid performance of Unison.
“In addition to maintaining a strong financial position, Unison has continued to supply a very good network performance result. The Company’s commitment to their smart network strategy has seen the completion of the implementation stage, the benefits of which are already flowing through to consumers by way of enhanced security of supply.”
All Hawke’s Bay power consumers who were connected to the Unison network on the 30 September 2015 will receive a dividend payment, with cheques to be mailed out at the end of November.
“Both the Trust and Unison receive a large number of enquiries from the community regarding the annual payment of the dividend cheque and, in the first instance, we encourage consumers to visit Unison’s website for a full list of frequently asked questions and answers,” said Mr Newland.
