Red Stag

Unison has an important role to play in helping the country’s transition to a zero carbon future in areas such as transport, industrial heat and housing and ensuring the continuation of a safe, resilient electricity network.

As a key enabler and distributor of electricity to our communities, it is Unison’s responsibility to create, innovate and support technology which enables us all to reduce emissions, for the benefit of our planet, and for future generations.

More and more businesses are working to decarbonise by converting their industrial processes to electricity. Unison is working closely with businesses across our regions to support their decarbonisation aspirations and sustainability goals.

Customer service is one of Unison’s core values, it’s at the heart of what we do and it’s really important to Unison that we take the time to understand our customers’ needs.

We’re regularly working with and supporting customers, such as our long standing client Red Stag Timber, based just outside Rotorua, so we can understand their energy requirements and how best we can help them as they grow and innovate.
