ETEL Services

ETEL Services has a history going back more than twenty years. They started out working as part of ABB’s network of international technology companies. More recently, ETEL Services have transitioned to becoming a member of Unison’s group of technology providers working alongside PBA.

Their specialty is the testing, analysis, service, and overhaul of rotating plant, both low and high voltage, which includes motors, pumps, and generators. They operate from Service Centres in Hamilton and Christchurch and have an experienced team of technicians available for site-based projects.

In addition to rotating plant, ETEL Services has an in-depth knowledge of the testing and servicing of transformers, switchboards, and switchgear, along with associated cabling and buswork. Their association with PBA means that we can together provide a full range of services on a national basis.

ETEL Services provide services to a wide range of electrical infrastructure owners throughout New Zealand. Their customers include power generation, electricity transmission and distribution, marine, mining, food processing, timber, and industrial companies.
